Every soul that passes the gate,
Has passed a test of fate,
Trudging along on tired feet,
Almost there, refusing to be beat
The journey to eternity,
Is by no means a small feat,
We live our lives however we please,
Forgetting about the race for peace
Our journey began at the gate,
Our journey will end at the gate,
The race began when we entered the world,
The race will only end when it's the end of the world.
Take a good look at yourself,
Think hard and retrace your steps,
Contemplate on all you've done and failed to do,
And be sure to leave no stone unturned until your purpose is fulfilled.
At the gate, we will all assemble,
To give account of the life we lived while on earth,
At that moment the race has come to an end,
And the results are being called
