Liberation day, the day the crippled walked and the mute sang,
The day all hearts has beat as one and conquered fears of death.
The day the weak became the strong and the losers became winners.
All voices singing one song pleading for freedom and peace of mind.
The perfect day to remind everyone that unity is the power,
We can achieve it if we believe it.
Tears has flown and wet the ground where the giants fell,
Blood was shed and flesh was torn,
Lives were sacrificed and future was secured.
A great march of boys and girls triggered by the cry of their mothers,
Leaving footprints for generations to follow
Actions were taken and recorded,
Converted into ink writing a great story to be heard,
History was made and the scale was leveled.
The day boys became men and girls became warriors,
Bled blood that became ink and wrote history.
