Pain
Nothing brings much-needed clarity as pain. Piece by piece all that is was taken and the peace I felt was mistaken but now I see even without searching.
What is this constant search for validation? If it has a name what's the pronunciation? And if it had a route what is the destination? Every question is a reason for thought and I hope its answers become a torch in the darkest of nights.
I felt lost when the life I knew fell apart, and I felt new when I knew pain was an illusion. I hope you see a reflection of yourself through these words because this is a reflection of the heart that formed these words.
