Station to Station
Vultures
Pecking at my head
Chipping away at my soul
Scavengers everywhere
Hyenas
Chasing me down
Seeking the
leftovers
Purification
Survival
Damn I’m good at this
Conversations
With god
Not the religious kind
Hylozoism
Is the universe alive and kicking
Contra contradictions
Heaven forbid
What have we been taught
Me I see it differently
Always from outside of the box
Two feet firmly placed
In the ethereally
Emotional intellect
Intersectionality
An intersection
I stepped outside of the norm
She loved that
But sadly
Never truly understood
Her frequency dampened
Bedew of the soul
Hidden and inaudible
My journey a different route
As sad as that is
I miss her
She was part of me
And still is
Evolution painful
Separation
learning to let go
I wish she was here
The dark side of the moon
A diamond in the rough
Abracadabra
Shazam
I create as I speak
I’m my own hero
Forging my own path
Sound and vision
Awakened
The man who fell to earth
I wished her
She wished
For something different
Station to station
My word
On a wing
