Gone But Not Forgotten! ( letter to a friend)
Tonight, whilst deleting some old emails, I came across this email that I had sent to my pen friend from India.
We had corresponded daily, for over two years,
then suddenly she stopped replying.
This is a copy of correspondence
I sent a year into our friendship:-
Dear S*****",
As my longtime penpal,
whether I have been flying
high in the sky with happiness
or plunging the depths of despair
beneath the waves in the ocean of life,
you have always been there for me.
Never asking anything in return.
You are indeed a true friend.
