Effortless Joy
My world would cease its spin, my skies turn gray, If harm should touch your soul or dim your light. I’ve never known a joy that chose to stay,
Or happiness that didn’t take its flight.
But with my head laying on your chest, the days are bright, and no effort is needed to find happiness. It simply flows. Like streams that move to the ocean take their flow, or how the flower naturally blossom.
