𝐢n and 𝐨ut.
I take a deep breath,
my chest puffs out.

I let out the breath,
my chest caves in.

𝗜𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁,
𝗜𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁.

Over and over,
Simple yet complex.

My lungs recognize oxygen,
They know I need it,
They take it in.

My lungs recognize carbon dioxide,
They know the plants need it,
They let it out.

Give and take,
𝗜𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁.

I can breathe,
and it's for free of charge.

Out there,
Some need to pay for their lungs
to go '𝗜𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁'.

Some lungs fail to recognize
Oxygen and Carbon dioxide.

This is why every moment
your lungs go '𝗜𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁',

You should be thankful
that this simple yet complex
process is free of charge.
