Boys don’t break up face to face,
They let love erode, vanish without a trace.
Treating you poorly, a cruel, slow burn,
Hoping you’ll leave, never to return.
They dodge the truth, hide behind lies,
Letting tears fall from your weary eyes.
When you finally walk away, broken and torn,
They point the finger, leave you forlorn.
In the end, you bear the blame,
Left with the heartache, carrying the shame.
But know this truth, hold it near,
Their cowardice is what you should fear.
