Ever since the quarantine of the Pandemic of this unknown deadly virus has begun, everyone enter into a whole new world. The Virtual World. Where everyone can easily can do anything they want. That also give the benefits to the hackers too, don’t you think? But there was this one hacker who was known as the Ghost Hacker. Rumour has been spread around the online classes among the students. At first, the teachers didn’t believe this type of nonsense until they started to witness it. The Ghost Hacker would enter into the online classes and disturbed it. It would target the students by making phone calls at midnight. Teachers would receive unknown emails that have threatened them. But whenever they tried to check the person who was doing this but that would remain unknown or you could say ghosted. These rumours about it were all starting to come true until it became too horror to be true.

At late night, Jones was playing the new viral game, “Among Us” with his friends. Mike, Linda and Stacy. They were all playing together in online and were having a lot fun. Jones’s mom came in and said, “Jones, it’s late. You have to go to bed. You have school, I mean online class tomorrow. Give me the phone and get to sleep.” But Jones pleaded and said, “Just one more and then I’ll give it to you. I Promise.” “Fine. But only one, ok?” Jones smiled and said thanks to his mom. He went back to his game and said, “Ok guys, is anyone here a imposter?” His friends said none of them was the imposter. But there were four more unknown players that one of them had to be the imposter. So they started to play but things started to get strange. The unknown player named, “UNKNOWN” killed the three unknown players all at once. Then it pressed the ‘Report Button’ and made everyone to come to the emergency room. Jones and his friends became shocked and scared at the same time. Mike asked, “Um, hello? How did you kill those players all at once? Who are you? Could you be the Ghost Hacker?” He laughed at his own line. “Shut up, Mike. Stop with the nonsense, would you?” Said Stacy. The player kept silent. Linda said, “Hey guys I am gonna remove this guy.” Linda try to remove this player but she couldn’t. She kept trying to do it until they heard this screeching voice with evil laughter through their earphones. Jones pulled out his earphones and held his ears. And then the game shut down. He became terrified and called his friends through group call. They were talking how did this happen. They were panicking a lot. Jones said, “Ghost Hacker? But this person could be a prankster from our school and messing with us. Let’s call it a night. Goodnight guys.” He disconnected his phone call and went to bed but he couldn’t sleep after what happened.

Morning came. Jones woke up and stared at the wall. Thinking about whatever just happened last night was just only a dream. But was it? Jones went to the kitchen to see what his mom was cooking. Fried eggs, pancakes and waffles. “As you know, today is the last day of online class before your winter vacation. I wanted to make it special.” Jones smiled and said, “Thanks Mom.” His mom looked at him and saw worry face. “Honey, are you alright? Did anything happen?” Jones replied, ”No, nothing. I am going to the dining room.” Jones walked to the dining room and saw his little sister eating her cereals and his dad working on his Ipad. His mom brought the breakfast and they all ate together. Jones went to his room and started his online classes. In the middle of the day, it was History Class. The teacher was telling the history of the Salem Witch Trials. “And that’s how the trials have ended within one year. Now, for your holiday homework, I’ll be.., hey who is that student.” All of them looked at the unknown person. The teacher kept asking, “Excuse me, who is this? How did you get here? Who gave you the password?” The unknown spoke in a very demonic voice, “Oh Mr. James, I am just here for the kids. I want to play a game with them. Now, I’ll be removing you. If you don’t mind.” Mr. James exclaimed, “No! Don’t you dare hurt these kids. They are not of part of this. Please! Plea-” The unknown person laughed and said, “You all know my name, the Ghost Hacker....” Jones along with the others got scared. “Aah, Jones it’s so nice to see you again. It was really good game you played with your friends. Very good. So I decided to play with you too.” Jones was shaking with fear. Jones saw Linda getting up from the chair but suddenly, “No. Not so fast. Otherwise trouble will come. If you think I can’t do it. Watch this.” Her phone, her tablet were making weird sounds suddenly that made her to hold her ears and she screamed saying, “Please. Please don’t.” Finally it was stopped. Jones asked, “What do you want from us?” The Ghost Hacker said, “A game.” Jones had an idea of distracting the hacker and at the same time texting Mike. Telling him to remove the hacker. “What type of game. Maybe a baby game in which you are the best. Or maybe a boring which we find it stupid. Because you are stupid I guess.” Everyone started to laugh. “Shut Up! All of you!” The laughter died. Jones texted to Mike about removing the hacker by hacking. Jones and Mike both knew how to hack. Jones tried everything he could until he had an idea to sent a virus to the hacker’s computer. He pinned the location of the computer and finally he did it. The Ghost Hacker exclaimed, “What!? How!? What are you doing to me??” Jones then said, "Sorry? We can't hear you. Maybe your internet is unstable or speak louder please!" The Hacker was finally removed.

All of the online classes were cancelled due to the incident. Jones was relieved and told his parents what just happened but they had a hard to believe it until they they got a call from his class teacher and asked whether their son was okay or not. At late night, Jones was walking to his room until he heard his sister talking to someone. Jones asked himself, “Who could she talking to at this late hour?” He opened the door and walked closer to Lily. Lily was looking and talking continuously at her Ipad. Jones looked over and became shocked. It was the Ghost Hacker and revealed himself. It wore a scary mask which had a bloody smile with huge black eyes and wore a hoodie. Jones snatched the Ipad from his sister. He said, “ Stay away from my sister!!!” Jones was holding the device shakingly and felt goosebumps all over his body. It replied, “Ah Jones Jones. You and your friend did a good hacking by removing me. I am impressed. Now I want to play a game with you. And not only you but along with your friends. I chose you because you are something special. But if you refuse to play my game and then take an example of you sister.” Jones looked at his sister and saw she was lying on the floor unconscious. Jones held his sister and shouted her name multiple times, shaking her. Lily opened her eyes and asked, “Hey, what happened? What are you-.” Lily looked at the screen of her device and became scared. “Hello Lily.” Said the hacker and leaned towards the camera. “So what do you say Jones Wood?” Jones looked at the hacker and said, “If I could put a virus through computer then definitely I can play your so called game and beat you.” It laughed demonically. Then Jones said, “Game on, Ghost Hacker.”
