Everywhere he went he would take a watch with him, but it wasn’t just any watch, it was one of the most intricate and exotic clockworks he had ever seen. Its casing was made of silver and its chain of solid gold and its ticking mechanism hummed with a strange air of timelessness.

Kurt had heard stories that this watch was said to turn back time, so he decided to test its powers. Settling in a quiet spot, he wound the watch and let it tick away until the very last minute.

To his surprise, the hands of the watch began to spin wildly, faster and faster until it felt as if the world was standing still. Suddenly, Kurt found himself standing in the very same spot but the world around him was different. The trees and people had changed, the music and the languages too, and the streets were now filled with unfamiliar faces and sounds.

Kurt ventured further, trying to comprehend what had just happened, until he stumbled upon a portal that led him to a pocket of time. As he stepped through, Kurt found himself in a distant past where he soon realised that the watch kept him immortal, allowing him to experience life through different eras.

Kurt was finally free to explore the great moments of history, witnessing the birth of the renaissance, the construction of the great pyramids, the journey of Columbus to the new world and so much more. He lived many lifetimes, taking joy in the wild travels of the past and the beautiful works of art born in the days gone by.

Kurt was a very happy man for years to come, travelling the lands of old, reliving the iconic tales of battles fought, loves lost and foreign cultures explored – all through the watch that held the power of time.
