MY TOXIC RELATIONSHIP WITH SOCIAL MEDIA
I could never comprehend the trouble with living in this era of extreme communication and over sharing. Also the social media platforms thrive on comparision and competetive theories.

The moment you meet someone online or in person you are observed with their lens and judged for the clothes you have worn, the accessories you included, the credentials you earnt, the car you bought, the house you built, the travels you made and everything that counts to make it BIG in the society.

What is everyone chasing? Material growth maybe...is a one shot answer but WHY?

Why are we so obsessed with materialistic pursuits in life, don't we know that nothing lasts. Still so obsessed?

The world has sufficient inequality and distinction among people and their quality of lives. This gap is never to fill and the rich go on flexing, the mediocres are wannabes and the poor are helpless.

Social media amplifies this distance between the classes. It's a toxic place as there's this relativity game going on with algorithms promoting endless information and consumption. Capitalism encouraging continuous buying lifestyle.

Where is the world headed? If our self worth is tied up to our material worth then how do we fill up our cup of seeking, spirituality, mortality and transience of existence?

Wonder what everyone is running behind? looks like a mirage. Can't we build a community or an yearly convention, maybe even online paltforms/forums/groups etc for philosophy, meditation, spirituality, astrology, occult sciences, metaphysics, non duality and poetry enthusiasts ? Here we only discuss these topics not the worldly BS of who ranks where on the social ladder. Where do i find my tribe to fill my cup ? or am i alone in this path of self realisation....
