The Draca Chronicles: Origins (Chapter 1: History)

Drayconia (drake-O-n-ya) Lunia Darken is known as a Nateiriana (n-u-tear-ee-an-nah) meaning to be just. To generalize but the exact subrace she belongs to is called Tiranen (tear-o-ne-n) meaning ne'er the same face twice. A Tiranen are kinda like a shapeshifter and a vampire, as well as a witch. There are other races they could probably be compared to but lets not go into that. She was born on the planet of TirQuntarica (tear-quh-in-tar-y-k-ah) in the country of Nonticia (non-tea-k-ah) the family owned town of Draycon's Cross, originally named Spirits' Crossing on the home world but Draycon (dr-u-con) changed it once he took over as head of the family and moved them to the new world literally, on the twenty first of Sambainel (som- bane-L). At age two hundred six she had long quit her aging proses. She had desided to stop it at twenty two because of how common it was for every one of her line to stop at or around that age. Now she is of the seventh generation of her family after her grandfather Draycon left his home land. He is the oldest living member of her extensive family. Being seven million two years old (mind you not earth years for cycles are longer on their planet. One of their months lasts two of ours) or so his journal says. Her family rarely has children. The founder of their line, a Lady Ardeth, set down some laws concerning humans. Though her grandson Draycon may have twisted them or added his own set of laws. Once he moved to the planet Draca.
A Diary Entry From Ardeth Köttera
Dated the twelve month of her twenty-first year. (Which is how they judged time in her village then)
"I know death will take me soon. I rather that I never die. I was looking through my aunt Annalyn's Book of Shadows today and I found the most wonderful spell and the answer to my problem. The elder who wrote it called it 'The Vampiric Awakening'. Its absolutely perfect. I can become immortal and it doesn't even call for any sacrifices like someone else told me. I just need my voice, some time, some red ribbons, lemon juice, flour, milk, a mixing bowl, a sea sponge, a cloth to dry myself, grave soil, and to open my third eye, also a lot of concentration. The instructions don't sound hard either........."
(Note: When this Diary entry was supposed to have been wrote people only lived to their twenty's. The oldest you would be expected to live was thirty.)
The law is law
These are the laws set down by Lady Ardeth:
1. No falling in love with a human
2. No killing a human
3. We are never to tell a human about ourselves
4. Never change a human
(Penalty for braking these laws is death for both parties in the wrong)
More laws laid down by Draycon:
1. Women are subservient
(if necessary spells should be cast to keep them submissive)
2. Women do not work, except in the home and for their husbands and family
(no matter what the men want they have to give it.)
3. Men had the right to beat, rape, or kill a disobedient woman
Mostly all of her family does not go out during the day only those with jobs. She hates it when people get the Buffy the vampire slayer sickness when you say vampire. Though she can walk in daylight feeding in daylight you would think would be another story but she has no problem with it as long as she is careful about being seen. She has telepathic abilities to help her make her food come to her and do want she wants them to. Also to erase the mind of anyone who comes upon her while she feeds. Which is good for helping to keep her secret. Her pray never remember a thing because she wipes it from their memory. There is never any bit marks because her saliva has healing properties. She can make herself fit in anywhere because she can shape change to fit in. Her only weakness' are decapitation, and fire. Until she unsheathes her fangs you would never even know she is a vampire. Her kind was designed to blend into human civilization and never leave a trace they were ever even there. They are the perfect hunters. Although she tends to mix fashions. Looking like a goth one day, prep, emo, or punk the next. She doesn't like to stick to one set look and will even blend them. Her skin is palish even though she gets a lot of sun.
