Chapter 6
Truth


Lania sighed, "Well Lyra you are going to have to come back with us to the palace." The child's eyes grew huge, "What! I can't leave with you. My family is here and I don't know you." How can this strange woman expect me to up and leave my family. She backed up a step.

"There will be people that will come to get them and help them pack. You will only be going on ahead of them." Lania moved faster than Lyra could react and grabbed her. Since Lyra was uncooperative Lania had to place the enchanted band around her wrist. This prevents Lyra from using the elements against Mia nor herself. She then began their journey out of the forest. Where a several solders awaited with the horses and the royal carriage. There were two other carriages for the princesses family and their luggage.

"Why are you doing this? Let me go!" Lyra yelled at Lania. "You are the missing future queen, the princess. Your parents hide you away and broke our laws. After you were born, and your mother was able to travel, they were supposed to bring you to the palace but they didn't. You have done nothing wrong but you belong at the palace." Lania had stopped and turned to Lyra to tell her.
