She liked his attention, thinking finally she clicked with someone, not knowing she was actually searching for herself in someone else.

Because she never hurt herself like others could or did.
Though she felt empty, she still felt safe within.
Though she was drwoning, she knew to swim back up.
Though she was angry, she screamed under water to let it out.

Accepting and loving oneself is harder than one could realise and she was on that journey.
Along the way, many slowed her down, sometimes sped her up,but all this while she started arranging the pieces of a puzzle, which is her. A beautiful, intriguing, life long puzzle only she could fill or leave, if she feels like it. After all it's her life.
