Republic Day of India
On 26th January, we all Indians celebrate the day as the Republic Day. On the same date in 1950 our constitution was formed. The constitution was actually adopted by the Indian Constituent Assembly on 26 November 1949 and came into effect on 26 January 1950.
But to all Indians does it really matter much as on today. We are enjoining our freedom and are able to breath in an independent India with so many rights made and amended through the constitution of indian. The right of Freedom, Justice, Equality and Fraternity are some of the constitutional rights of each Indian, but do all of us actually enjoy those. The answer is a “No”, why because of lack of education by many of us, and even those who are educated also continue to be dominated by someone physically or psychologically. And there are so many who use certain loopholes in our laws and rules to their advantage may be for political, personal or any other reason.
Today as I walked in the streets and main roads, I could see so many flags now lying like garbage, is this how our national flag should be treated. I have seen this both on Republic day as well as Independent day. I am really ashamed to be one of those who sings the national song with pride once or twice in a year, and then forgets what needs to be actually done for the progress of the nation as we are all so selfish in our acts.
Still I feel, that as an individual all rights must be enjoyed with certain norms and restraints, so that it helps all of us to grow with the nation, and we should feel proud of our country, not for one or two days in a year, but on each and every day.
Happy Republic Day to all Indians 🇮🇳
Let’s make an endeavour to make our country as the best amongst all nations.
Jai Hind 🙏
