Under Construction
Jeremiah 17 : 7 - 8

"Blessed is the man who trusts the Lord and whose trust IS the Lord.
For he will be like a tree planted by the water, that extends its roots by a stream
and will not fear when the heat comes; but its leaves will be green and it will
not be anxious in the year of drought, nor cease to bear fruit."

Hello to all. I greet you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, in whom lies ALL that we are and will ever be.

GOD IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO AMAZING!!!! I was sitting here wondering what next to say and I was drawing a complete blank so I decided (or so I thought), to put up the "under construction" sign, then God said THAT'S IT! That's what people need to understand.

How many times have you been ridiculed or put down because someone figured you weren't "up to standard"? Somebody said you weren't "ready" or "mature enough". Hey, that's ok because while they may mean those things from a negative standpoint, what they don't know or are spiritually blind to, is that you are merely a vessel under construction.

God has some stuff that He wants to place in you but in your present state, those things would just spill out and be wasted. God in His wisdom, has decided to reconstruct you into a bigger, sturdier vessel that can adequately hold all that He has for you in this season. That's why you have been feeling uncomfortable where you are at. There's a restlessness in your spirit because of the process.

Have you ever seen a house being remodeled? The paint is stripped, some walls are broken down, sometimes the roof has to come off and be rebuilt to accommodate the increased dimensions of the dwelling area. Well you ARE a house! God's dwelling place.

When God remodels, He strips away our comforts (paint). The things that make us look good to those looking on. We become exposed that's why we must walk HOLY before the Lord and before men at ALL TIMES. God also breaks down some walls. Through the years, we have built up some walls of pain, mistrust, anger, revenge you name it, we've built it but God wants an open plan for His dwelling place. He needs the space for all that He wants to bless us with, so, ready yourselves. It might be painful but it will most certainly be worth it. Now we come to the roof (covering). When the roof is off, the whole house becomes open to the elements (doubts, fears, anxieties etc). It can be a very rough time dependent on the length of time it takes to adjust the dimensions of the dwelling.

Here's what we MUST do. DON'T RESIST! God is the Master Builder. He knows EXACTLY what HIS dwelling place should look like. You can be sure that when He is through with you, everyone that laughed and spoke ill of you, will have to acknowledge that "you fix up GOOD!"

Now you know what's happening in your life. Just let God do His work and if anyone asks you "what's wrong?" You can smile and tell them with great excitement, NOTHING'S WRONG! I'M JUST UNDER GOD'S CONSTRUCTION!!

But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down but not destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4: 7-9
