Okay let's make it easy. Wolf ate Red Riding Hood in the end. So basically wolf is the villain. But if he is the one who doesn't dies and tells the tale, why tf he would tell he is the villain who ate a girl and her grandma. Basically story was told by Red Riding Hood, who depicted herself as hero, but the true story cannot be known. Maybe she is just an hunter 🤷‍♂️ who killed that innocent animal.
