The darkness descends
Nocturnal creatures awaken
Appearing from their dens
Insects and small animals
Some birds fly at night
To search for a good meal
They have great eyesight
Cats prowl at night curiously
Discovering new places
Some travel long distances
To meet some new faces
Then the nightshift workers
Labouring in the night
Driving to work so very late
Then returning at sunrise
Many things occur in the dark
A tiny seed will sprout
