I was young, and I wasn't ready,
But he loved me, so deeply.
I fumbled the love he gave,
And now, it's too late to save.
He was the one, my soulmate,
But I let him slip through the gate.
I'll never know if he was the one,
The chance was there, and now it's gone.
I'll carry the regret with me,
Of what could have been, so easily.
