I Stand Upon This Jetty
Looking out towards the sea,
On the jetty alone,
Listening to the waves lap the shore,
Admiring their wispy tone.
Each wave, it swirls majestically,
Until the final burst,
The rhythm so captivating,
It leaves my soul immersed.
There's something oh so soothing,
About the freedom of the sea,
As I stand upon this jetty,
My being feels so free.
