Her eyes gleamed with the light
Of her inner strength,
She had walked miles,
Not worried about the length.
Eyes beholding every sight
Taking in all there is to see,
Not missing even the slightest details,
Admiring every second of its beauty.
Not allowing herself to be distracted
Of insignificance presence
Focusing on the important things,
That makes living worth its joyful essence.
Experiencing every aspect life has to offer,
Standing firm on her values and what she believes,
Because she knows that if she doesn’t live truthfully,
Living has just been a waste of time and nothing was achieved.
Therefore she gives all she has to offer,
Giving of herself and not sparing what remains,
Showing compassion and understanding,
Taking it all in with everything that it contains.
