Blossoms
Sunday is somewhere in the teal dawn
wandering on a lukewarm breeze.
Monday pens weary travelogues
with fugal prose for frozen seas.

Tuesday births gilded halos
of sunlit cirrus sliding over a knoll.
Wednesday gathers ornate words
and paints infinity upon the scroll.

Thursday hums a serene tune
which lulls for the azure morn.
Friday treks the summer afternoon
through magenta blossoms and emerald thorns.

Saturday nestles in the cool dusk;
a shroud of purple dappled skies.
I’ll blot a scarlet streak of diamond stars
and crown the night with your hazel eyes.
