Dear Dad in heaven, I hope you can hear,
These words I am sending, with love sincere,
Though time has passed, you're still everywhere.
In all my memories, you still appear.
But I miss your voice, and your steady hand,
The way you'd help me to understand,
The world with all its twists and turns,
In every lesson learn, I still burn.
In dreams, I sometimes see your face,
That gentle smile, your warm embrace,
Although you're not here, yet your spirit stays,
