Words
When you were not here
there were no flowering flowers
in my garden
Everything was dull and dry
When you walked in
The fruits and leaves budded to the sky
A singing bird at the rooftop
and the shady ghosts all gone
When you started loving me
My nights sang, and still to this day
Silver birds, golden birds
The bitter woes trapped for infinity
For you, I can conjure anything
The pen that rubs down my misery
Feed my heart, keep it
The starry, lovely night sky I stare
Little words I scatter
Tomorrow a glamorous life on the platter
The former can't outrun the latter
Even a witch's spell can't wreck
Lying on this hammock of love
Spitting tense rhythms, no pretence
Handpick my words and ponder over them
for your beauty wraps me tenderly
