India is a country,
Land of sages,
And bravery ages.
Gives 'Buddh',
To the world,
Rather than 'Yuddh'.
It's tricolour flag,
Made us glad.
Saffron,White, Green,
with 'Dharma chakra'
At it's center.
Each has its own significance,
Saffron colour reminds us,
Of our Martyrs,
Who sacrificed their life,
For 'Bharat Mata'.
White colour indicates,
Importance of 'Peace',
In our life.
'Dharma chakra' at it's center,
indicates constant movement
Throughout the day.
Green colour indicates importance of,
'Creative fertility of Land'.
On this auspicious occasion of 'Republic Day' I hope that the constitution be engraved into the heart of each and every citizen of our country.
