Cruel Heat
Oh, cruel heat, your power knows no bounds,
You test our limits, push us to extreme grounds,
We fight to survive, enduring each scorching day,
As heat's oppressive grip refuses to bestow.

We gasp for breath, our lungs on fire,
As sweat drenches us, a torment we can't sire,
The answer to this heat, we desperately seek,
Oh, cruel heat, your power knows no bounds.

Fans provide but fleeting relief,
As the air hangs heavy, kinda suffocating,
We retreat indoors, seeking solace and shade, but the heat persists,
You test our limits, push us to extreme grounds.

Nature's thirst quenches not, the sun beats down,
Scorching the earth, turning soil to brown
Rivers dwindle, parched and dry,
We fight to survive, enduring each scorching day.

We pray for rain, a cooling shower from skies,
To quench our thirst, replenish our dry eyes,
But clouds hide far above, taunting us below,
As heat's oppressive grip refuses to bestow.
