Human
Once a human, in a world so pure,
Now a wanderer, seeking a cure.
Life's not a melody, nor a good book,
It's more like a puzzle, in a hidden nook.

I used to laugh, I used to play,
Now I just sigh, day after day.
The sun doesn't shine, the flowers don't bloom,
In my heart, only gloom and doom.

I miss the joy, I miss the thrill,
Like a bird that's lost its will to trill.
Life is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery,
I'm just a leaf, lost in history.

Oh, to be human, to be free,
Is a distant dream, a faded memory.
The world is cold, the world is cruel,
I'm just a pawn, in its endless duel.

So here I stand, at the edge of despair,
In a world that doesn't seem to care.
But I won't be defeated, I won't be downed,
For in my heart, a spark is found.

I may have lost my human grace,
But I'll find my place, in this vast space.
For life is not just joy or sorrow,
It's also hope, for a better tomorrow.

So here's my tale, of woe and strife,
Of my journey, through this life.
I used to be human, but now I see,
That I'm more than that, I'm simply... me.
