Am I the only one who believes
That love knows no bounds,
Endless and limitless,
A one-time, lifelong love?

Am I the only one who clings
To those I hold dear,
Worshipping relationships,
Loving fervently and forgiving easily?

Am I the only one who loves intensely,
Only to be hurt in the end,
Appreciating every small gesture,
Falling for every act of kindness?

Am I the only one who longs for love given in return,
Believing love shouldn't bring pain,
Yet feeling the sting of silence from my beloved?
