Weekend Solitude
I'm having a wonderful weekend after ages,
No plans, no office work, no personal stuff,
I'm excitingly restless,
Don't know if it even makes sense,
Doing everything at my own pace,
Took care of my plants, tidied the house,
Catching up on TV,
Heck, even cooked a scrumptious meal,
Doing my drawing at regular intervals
Went for a walk with a clear head,
Read a book, ironed my clothes,
Tea & coffee were my best friends ofcourse,
Barely spoke to anyone on phone,
Enjoying the solitude for once...
I'm not sad that the weekend is almost over,
I'm happy that I got to relax to the core,
If only all weekends can carry this spirit,
Monday blues will then cease to exist...
