Kids,, I've made some horrible choices
when I could've listened to the right or the left I turned my ear to the deaf
I fed it after midnight
I let it out into the light
I disobeyed
every rule they displayed
I dismissed and made
something shameful of
the degrade
got a lot of D grades in school
not many
let in me
so I observed for most of the time
been an outsider
everywhere I went stood outside
the line
off keyed when they chimed in
but I always thought mine fit in
but they looked at me still
the problem is that it fraid me

stone cold I got stuck
with every loss in luck
I stuck with those bucks
and chucked em in my pocket
taking whatever was given
as long as I could climb back in my socket
wasn't on no particular gimme
but no gimme is what got me
