My Honey-bee
To someone who stole my heart;
You took my life's rhythm without an insidious touch.
You were my honey bee; setting you free was too risky.
You stung me so strongly that you left a venomous stain on me.
Your tiny thorn thrust into my being wholly.
But I know that you have a hidden sweetness in your golden belly.
That's why my head covets to lessen this pain's pure tone.
To end this excruciation, aid me with your grandness that you've never shown.
Yet, I still want to live with this wounding species in bliss.
Oh! I love its humming—such a peaceful lullaby in my ears.
The healing taste of heaven; my sweet love, you are forgiven.
You are the clamant poison in my dream I've ever caught, and my silent antidote.
