Build your walls, dare to say "NO"
Uh oh, for you that's laborious I know
But dear people pleaser,
Enough of putting them on top of your list, this stings but for them you don't matter
Enough of idiocy that doing this and that will give you glee
Be unafraid to walk away, and your worth you'll soon see

Learning to say "NO" is the first key
To cure that festering disease to please
Start saying "NO", if they'll resent you, let them be
War between you and the urge to please, let it cease
Enough of self-sacrificing
For if not, soon you'll dust to nothing

Find peace in saying "NO"
Your true feelings let them show
Be unafraid to lose them
For you are prized, a gem
No need for validation
For self-love towards a love-filled self is your foundation
