lost in abyss
In the depths of despair, I find myself,
No ray of hope, no guiding light to delve.
Each trial and tribulation seems to conspire,
Leaving me trapped in a mire.
I've searched for hope in every corner,
But it eludes me, a distant mourner.
It feels like I'm losing grip on reality,
Drowning in a sea of futility.
My body, once resilient, now feels frail,
As I navigate this journey, I seem to fail.
Standing on the edge, staring into the abyss,
Wondering if there's any point to this.
I've given all I have, every ounce of fight,
Yet still, darkness descends, consuming the light.
The specter of loss, an ever-present ghost,
Haunts my steps, as I wander, lost.
I fear I've reached my breaking point,
Where hope and despair jointly appoint.
Life slips through my fingers like grains of sand,
And I fear I may never again find land.
To lose oneself, a fate too cruel to bear,
Yet here I stand, stripped bare.
I long to rewrite this tragic tale,
But all I can do is endure, and prevail.
