In the sea of unforgotten tears;
That is filled to is highest shores;
Overflowing from the pain of rejection of many years;
My love flows through it all;
For even amidst the pain and loneliness;
I hear my Saviors gracious call.
Keeping me away from my darkest fears;
But that doesn't mean I am not drowning in the Sea of Unforgotten Tears.
For within these wild waters;
Life of loss and abandonent;
Has taught me wisdom, to navigate my greatest fears;
For within the storm, with the Word of Truth as my hull;
I will be ready when death takes its toll;
My Lord will take me home in peace;
For eternity, out of the Sea of unforgotten tears.
