I remember the faces
that came into my life
to fill it with joy
and make me rejoice
as if I had come to earth
just to enjoy
slowly with time
one by one
they started fading from my life
one by one
living behind memories of laughter laughed together
tears of joy shed together
living me alone
never to laugh
but to try to fade away like them
Now after years of parting
To keep the past alive
I have realized
I must rejoice
