I miss the rainbows we chased
The ache that I feel that I can’t hold you
I can’t see your smiling face
I can’t hold you in my embrace
There is no light in my day
There is nothing special in my day
Just the fight to bring you back to me and constant worry are you okay
By the people who stand in my way
On lies they have based and false assumptions made
Just keep thinking they can take whatever they want to take
Another form of control just to cause more trauma to me and you
Just to keep building on a false five year old case and more lies made
I miss you and I am waiting for the day that I get to hold you once again in my embrace.
