The familiar freckle above
My lip was gone,
In it's place, a single, only black teardrop Marking the possessed girl staring back at me From the bathroom mirror,
My reflection's smile, once bright,
Was a grotesque parody, lip stretched impossibly Wide revealing sharpened teeth,
A strangled giggle escaped my throat,
A sound that sent a jolt of terror through me,
It wasn't my voice,
Panic clawed at my throat,
But my body, a traitor in this stolen cage,
Remained Frozen,
My captive reflection reached out,
It's touch echoing my own,
A cold whisper, reeking of sulfur and decay,
Slithered into my ear,
My name, warped and twisted into something Alien, spilled from my lips,
The bathroom air crackled, charged with,
An unseen power,
In the mirror's depths, a monstrous shadow,
Writhed, tendrils reaching for me,
I was trapped, a prisoner in my own,
Stolen body,
