A Word Sandwitch
You hold the words in your hands.
Your mouth waters.
You bite in.
The sweet juices roll down your chin.
You crunch down on the words
feeling their power in your mouth.
Your bite into it again.
This time it tastes bitter, and cold.
You don't like these words.
Biting in a third time you taste love.
Warm, comforting love.
The love drips down your neck.
As you put the last bite in your thirsty mouth
you taste sadness.
It's cool, and tastes plain and stale.
You wipe the words from your face and neck.
