Whispers from the Abyss
Hi," a sweet voice echoed from the darkness.
It asked me something no one ever had
"Are you ok?",
I remained silent, my silence full of
unspoken words.
A long, eerie, dark hand, haunting yet
beautiful, reached out from the shadows.
The voice spoke again
"Come closer, child. I promise to ease your suffering."
Part of me hesitated to hold it
the thought itself scared me.
Yet the sweet, melodic voice from the
darkness urged me forward.
And then, as I held its hand...
A hollow emptiness engulfed me.
And in a split second
I vanished into the darkness,
Becoming another sweet voice
That seeks out broken souls
And guides them into the realm of darkness.
