This is the story of a girl
who leads a miserable life
who suffered quietly
butter never uttered a word
nor even cried or sigh
she lives in a corner

her face covered with curly hair

Alone she used to sit there
holding it close to her arms

with her head in the clouds
she used to live in her own world
away from all the noises and crowds

The world used to come and pass by
but no one ever tried to wonder why
none stood by her side
To know the reason behind the pain in her eyes
They presumed her to be obnoxious
so, decided why to be anxious ?

But if you'd give her a minute
she'd tell you her story
that she was the one who sprouted love like flowers
Her love was divine
And from her smile
the moon still shines

But who bothers to look at the corner ?
who bothers to even glance ?
Today also, the girl sits there in the hope
that surely one day
she'd be given a chance __
