In life's journey, burdens we bear,
Some tread lightly, others despair.
The weight upon their shoulders lies,
A constant ache that never dies.
They drag it through each passing day,
A heavy load that blocks the way.
Their spirits crushed, their hopes confined,
As life becomes a burden they can't bind.
While others dance with joy and grace,
They stumble, weary, in this race.
The weight they carry weighs them down,
As life's sweet song becomes a frown.
