January to March
seemed to stay forever
with wild winds
cold and continuous rain
April came
I thought 💭🤔
Maybe Spring
would follow
yet her we are at April's end
blossom has bloomed
in full and now gone
Spring is nowhere in sight
I long for
eternal clear blue skies
cloudless
with sunshine
all day long
where did it go
when will it come
tell me
what happened to Spring
my dream
to see sunshine
to embrace
its warm, tender kiss on my skin
oh, I long for the day
when Spring comes
those summer months
hopefully to come
for us to see
to see cloudless blue skies
and glorious days filled with sun...
