Chronicles of a Special Mind
Staring up in the middle of the night
she cannot seem to sleep,
she wants things to go right,
and she has a promise to keep.
So she tries to go back to rest
but her mind is like the sea,
not an iota of sleep though she tries her best,
as her mind is like an Ocean's horizon which you cannot see.
She finally closes her eyes,
but the more to sleep she tries,
she realises the plethora of things in her mind,
won't easily disappear as she wants to be kind.
Finally, she does get her well deserved sleep,
but when she wakes up she realises she's tired,
she realises her thoughts were too deep,
all caused by overthinking about a guy she admired,
