vi. the man who said i was his world
when he waved his hands across the wind,
everything crashed down like a landslide,
little did he know, i'm a concrete jungle...
sitting down with a crystalline heart,
catching his last few words in the air
patching up my mistakes,
my self-made regrets,
cursing the man who
pushed my diamond heart
at the edge of the table,
and unapologetically able
to break more chambers,
sitting down with a crystalline heart,
cursing the world on its sadly strange axis
'cause the man who said i was his world
was the man who shut my world.
postscript:
i'm sending my deepest love to y'all.
this poem completes my favorite series.
