Broken heart
We talked all night and you bid me with an 'I love you' text before I slept;
I couldn't respond cause I didn't know what to say;
I wanted to say 'I love you too';but I was never able to text those words back to you;
I just reacted with a heart emoji❤️;
Then today I saw you today with her;
You also saw me,but you looked the other way;
My heart broke that instance💔;
And I was hurt once again;
I concealed that hurt with a smile on my face;
So that my friends could not see;
They knew about us;
But we brushed it off and laughed;
It was a bittersweet laugh I guess;
I'm wondering whether you meant those three magical words last night;
I feel like it's my fault,because I didn't respond;
But I don't think I can trust you with my heart anymore;
But it hurts to know that I can't have you;
