Are good memories the end of happy times?
In every picture, I remember holding you-
telling you, "I love you",
as I rocked you to sleep.
All good memories and pictures I keep with me.
Was that the end of happy times?
We haven't grown together in awhile,
and all these good memories
and the pictures I keep with me,
just stay the same,
just as you were-
my perfect little boy
and my perfect little girl-
my favorite memories.
We haven't known each other in awhile
but, I know that there are happy times for you ,
in new pictures,
that I will hopefully see someday,
while we're sitting side by side,
talking about good times and good memories
...and my favorite pictures I keep with me!!!
