Invested my Time
Wasted my energy
So we could be great
Wanted the moment to last
But we made some mistakes
Thought the love was real
Turned out to be a disgrace

Agony killing me
Willingly
I fell on my face

Thought the truth hurts
But the lies cut deep
Brushed off the dirt
And got back up on my feet

Thought that life has ended
Or so those moments seemed
