When Death comes knocking
Death knocked at my door and said"
I death am natural as life,
When will you accept me,
When will we end this strife?

I'm not a knife in your back,
I'm the relief from your life
The only cure for the ache
I am the permanent break,
The endless rest,
The Arthur coming to take
That sword of misery from your chest.

Like life, I death
Am necessary like the breath you take,
I'm natural, inevitable,
Yet you try your best
To eradicate me
Doing all you can to evade me,
With your medicine,
Your surgeries,
Your therapies,
And your vaccines.

I have to say, your resilience
Is commendable,
Your ability to contravene
Is simply something I've never seen.
Even now I COVID-19,
And then You quarantine,
Trading your freedom for time
So that i don't come?

But the fight is obsolete,
Death is absolute,
Am an encryption you can't decrypt,
An enemy you can't defeat
So why do you persist,
Time may be borrowed
But in the end
I always get what am owed,
Whether you delay or object,
I always come to collect.

Why can't you fall in line
Like other animals?
In life there are laws
Everything has to come to a pause
But still can't even accept
Something as simple as menopause,
Why can't you follow the course,
Don't you realize,
Even the best symphonies composed
Have to come to a close,
Read the fine print death is in the clause.
Why do you have to cause a scene?
Why do you deny me? "

When he finished speaking he raised his scythe and snatched my soul, i had forgotten that when death comes knocking you should never answer.
