The Capitalisation of Death - Act II.
When i capitalize Death but not god,
the thought of maggots feasting on me
Feels closer to fruition than the thought of heaven ever did.
I wonder if gods, or a god would forgive me
For cherishing the creation
More than hopes
coated with uncertainty.
I know, out there, someone prays for me.
But right now, the prayers I need
are not
about second chances or salvation.
when the Earth hums her blessings,
that’s when i flood with comfort.
„May something kind grow from your flesh,
Something worthy of rains,
Something akin to a shrine.“
I love this world so fiercely.
I hope they know.
[They. God(s), Chance, the Universe.]
I hope
I make them feel it.
