You tell me I’m naive,
don’t know nothing,
so, I search for learning
to build a foundation of knowledge.
You tell me I’m too rambunctious,
I have no control on the show,
so, I slow me down, take one step at a time,
to build a foundation of better flow.
You tell me I lack consistency,
I need more cohesiveness,
so, I build a schedule with discipline
to build a foundation of firmness.
You keep throwing bricks my way,
trying to tear me down,
